Golf Tip: How To Hit a Draw

January 17, 2013

Change your ball flight with one simple tip

Sometimes changing the flight pattern of your ball is not as complicated of a process as it seems. If you tend to hit the ball straight or with a slight fade, adding a slight draw to your ball can be as simple as keeping the clubface slightly closed with the same swing you’ve made with all of your other shots. With the closed face angle, your ball flight will develop a slight draw.

Minnesota PGA Professional Steve Fessler demonstrates this easy-to-follow tip in the video below:

The Minnesota Section PGA consists of PGA Professionals who are experts in the game and business of golf. Our mission is to promote the enjoyment and involvement of the game of golf and to contribute to its growth by providing services to golf professionals, the golf industry, people who play golf or would like to start playing golf. PGA Section Offices oversee the 41 geographic regions throughout the United States and provide the grass-roots network for the nation’s 25 million amateur golfers and with the PGA’s 27,000 members. www.minnesotapga.com.
