What year did you become pro?

I turned pro in 2002 and I became a PGA member in 2004.

What was your motivation to become a PGA professional?

The love of the game. My best friend was an assistant golf professional and he thought I would make a good golf professional.

How do you believe you are enhancing the game of golf?

We are doing so by teaching children as young as 4 years of age in our junior lesson program. We are also utilizing Get Golf Ready, PGA Junior Academy, and PGA Junior League.

What is your greatest moment in golf?

When I was offered my current job. It has allowed me to move back to my home area and give back to a region that absolutely loves the game of golf.

Who has had the greatest impact on your career?

My first Head Professional, Paul Brown.

When you are not golfing, how do you like to spend your day?

I love spending time with my wife and two children, officiating high school wrestling, reading, and studying the bible.

If you could play any course in the world, which one and who would you play with?

I would play Augusta National and the foursome would be my father, Jack Nicklaus, and Tom Watson.

Thank you Corey for all you’ve done for the Minnesota PGA Section Dakota Chapter!
