March 5, 2016

The Minnesota Section PGA was thrilled and honored to be a part of a special day at Thomas Beach, Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis, MN. Of course, this is a reference to the Polar Plunge Minneapolis 5K that raised over $1 million for Special Olympics Minnesota!

In addition to this, we are looking forward to the main event, The Polar Plunge into Lake Riley in Eden Prairie next weekend on March 12th to raise even more money! We encourage all Section members and supporters to join this wonderful cause as well as our team, Minnesota PGA.

This event is amazing year in and year out. It is also a great gear up for our event in the fall, the Bad Pants Open, in partnership with Special Olympics Minnesota. Several of the the Special Olympics athletes mentioned their anticipation and excitement for the Pro-Am this fall!

Come out and support a great cause!
