Jeff RunningMeet Minnesota Section Member Jeff Running from Chaska, MN. Jeff is now the Teaching Professional at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, MN. He was formerly an Assistant Professional at Mendakota Country Club.

What year did you become a professional?
I became a professional in the fall of 2010.

What are you most looking forward to at your new role and facility?
Most excited about teaching my students how to get more enjoyment out of the game and help them achieve their goals on the course.

How are you growing the game of golf?
Growing the game by offering “Get Golf Ready” programs. My golf academy primarily is focused on juniors and offering scholarships for them to play at no cost.

Outside the game of golf, what do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy running, biking, spending time with my wife and daughter Lydia.

What are you most excited about with the Ryder Cup coming to Minnesota?
I am most excited for the positive impact the Ryder Cup will have on the state of Minnesota and the surrounding region.  Highlighting Hazeltine and Chaska, where my family and I reside, has already had a positive impact on the community and the benefits will be used for decades.  Also, a triumphant American victory will go down in the record books and how cool is it to host a Ryder Cup not only in your state, but in the community you live in.
