MN-WI Jr. PGA Cup Matches: Stephanie Herzog & Bobby Park

June 20, 2016

Each day leading up to the Minnesota-Wisconsin Junior PGA Cup Matches, we will be profiling a girl and boy player from the Minnesota Team.

The 2016 Minnesota-Wisconsin Junior PGA Cup Matches will be played at SentryWorld Golf Course in Stevens Point, WI on June 29-30.

This has been an ongoing tradition between the PGA Sections since 1998 when the first Cup Matches were played. Wisconsin is leading the all-time series, 12-6, heading into this year’s matches.

The event consists of 12 boys and 12 girls from each the Minnesota and Wisconsin Sections that represent their Section in a Ryder Cup team-type event.

The formats used for the two-day event are four-ball matches the first day followed by singles matches on the second day. One point is awarded to the team who wins a match outright and a half point for both teams when there is a tie.

Today’s two profiles for Team Minnesota are Stephanie Herzog and Bobby Park.
