Meet Section Member: Mark Wittig

Meet Minnesota Section Member Mark Wittig from Orono, MN. Mark is now an Assistant Golf Professional at Olympic Hills Golf Club in Eden Prairie, MN. He was formerly a Head Golf Professional at Sundance Golf Course where he spent almost two years.

What year did you become a professional?
I became a professional in 1996.

What are you most looking forward to at your new role and facility?
Running the ladies groups at the course.

How are you growing the game of golf?
Playing golf with the young kids

Outside the game of golf, what do you enjoy doing in your free time?
When I’m not on the course, I enjoy playing poker.

What are you most excited about with the Ryder Cup coming to Minnesota?
Watching all the young, up and coming players for Team USA.
